June 12th is International Water Bottle Day
Every piece of gear in endurance sport gets its moment. The bike gets the Instagram shot. The shoes get the unboxing video. The GPS watch gets the detailed review.
Nobody talks about the humble water bottle.
The bottle that has been dropped on every ride, scuffed up beyond recognition, left in a hot car for three days, never properly cleaned, and still shows up without complaint every single time. It deserves one day. June 12th is that day.
How to Participate
Post a photo of your water bottle and tag #WaterBottleDay and @nnfuel on Instagram before June 12th. Two categories to choose from:
Option 1: the grossest water bottle you still use. You know the one.
Option 2: you and your bottle in the most epic location you have taken it.
Our favourite submission from each category wins $150 store credit. Winner announced on June 12th.
The Serious Part
Most of us fill our bottles without thinking twice. Not everyone has that luxury. Not even everyone in Canada has that luxury. Some have waited decades for safe tap water. We think that is worth doing something about.
